Faxed prescriptions, entered in seconds. Nothing leaves your store.
Branch Rx is a small, quiet computer that sits in your pharmacy. AI reads each faxed prescription, checks every field, and your tech enters the result into your dispensing system in one click.
- ●No internet needed
- ●No prescription data stored
- ●Works with Kroll and more

The problem
Fax is still how prescriptions arrive. Someone still retypes every one.
Faxes are still how prescriptions arrive at many pharmacies. Each one means reading a poor-quality page and keying in the patient, prescriber, drug, directions and quantities by hand.
Hand retyping, every time
Twenty or more fields per script, typed one by one, between phone calls and counter pickups.
Small slips, big consequences
A fuzzy digit in a health number or a misread strength is easy to make on a degraded fax.
Time away from patients
Data entry is the part of the job your team would hand off first, if the hand-off were safe.
How it works
From fax to field in four steps.
The fax arrives
Prescriptions land the way they do today. Branch Rx receives them and lines up each page, even when it comes in crooked, noisy or upside down. Your original fax is never changed or deleted.

1 · Fax arrives2 · AI reads the page3 · Verified and flagged4 · One click into your systemAI reads the prescription
The patient, prescriber, drug, strength, directions, quantity and refills are read off the page and laid out as clear, labelled fields over the fax image.

1 · Fax arrives2 · AI reads the page3 · Verified and flagged4 · One click into your systemEvery field is verified, doubtful ones flagged
AI plus multiple verification steps check each field for accuracy. Anything that does not pass gets a yellow flag so your tech knows exactly where to look. Nothing is hidden and nothing blocks your workflow.

Branch Rx has already scanned and digitized the fields. Your tech clicks once to enter each value into your dispensing system, so nothing is retyped.

Software independent. Works alongside the system you already use.
Branch Rx scans and digitizes the fields, making it one click to enter into your system. This way it is software independent: Kroll, Propel Rx, Fillware or another dispensing system.
- ✓Works alongside Kroll, Propel Rx, Fillware and other dispensing systems.
- ✓No integration project, no changes to your dispensing software.
- ✓The tech decides what to enter, so nothing is entered behind your back.
Privacy and security
Prescription data never leaves the building.
Branch Rx was designed for stores that take Alberta’s Health Information Act and Canadian privacy expectations seriously. There is no cloud to assess, because there is no cloud.
Stays in your store
Everything runs on a small computer on your own network. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
No internet required
It works with no outside connection at all. There is nothing to phone home and no telemetry.
Nothing stored
Fax pages and the fields read from them are held in memory only. The only record kept is a simple log of file name, time and outcome.
Read-only on your faxes
Branch Rx reads your faxes without copying, changing or deleting a single file.

Click a field, drag the slider to compare the original fax to the straightened page, and watch flagged fields. Every fax here is synthetic.
Where we are
It works on our test faxes. Now we want to prove it in real stores.
Branch Rx is built and working on test faxes. The next step is a small number of pharmacies willing to run a pilot, so we can learn from real counters and real fax quality.
We set it up
We bring the small computer, connect it so faxes come straight to Branch Rx and get it ready for your system. Little disruption to your day.
Your team uses it
Staff run real faxes through Branch Rx alongside your normal workflow. The pharmacist check stays as it is.
We listen and improve
We gather your feedback on what helped, what slowed you down and what to fix. You shape the product.
Ideal pilot stores: Canadian pharmacies that receive prescriptions by fax and use Kroll, Propel Rx, Fillware or another dispensing system. Regional managers welcome to start with one store.

FAQ
Questions we expect.
Does it work on handwritten prescriptions?
Branch Rx is built for printed (typed) prescriptions. If a printed script has handwritten changes on it, those are flagged for your tech to check rather than trusted.
Does it replace the tech or the pharmacist check?
No. Your tech still reviews each fax and enters it, and the pharmacist’s final check stays exactly where it is. Branch Rx removes the retyping, not the professional judgement.
Is anything sent to the cloud or to you?
No. The small computer in your store works without an internet connection. Fax pages and the fields read from them are held in memory while your team works and are not saved to disk or sent anywhere.
What happens to the fields it is unsure about?
They are marked with a yellow flag and the tech checks them against the fax image. A flag never blocks a prescription from being processed; it only tells your team where to look.
Which dispensing systems does it work with?
Branch Rx is software independent. It works alongside Kroll, Propel Rx, Fillware and other dispensing systems, with no integration with or change to your dispensing software.
What do we need in the store?
A network connection so faxes can come straight to Branch Rx, and a screen at the counter to show the review page. We bring and set up the small computer.
What does a pilot cost?
We will talk through pilot terms with you directly. Send us a note and we will set up a short call.
